Will I get bulky if I lift weights (will I look like a man)?

NOPE, impossible. You don't have as much testosterone as a man. It's almost impossible for a women to bulk up, UNLESS she is lifting heavily and consistently for about 10 year straight (YOU WILL KNOW WHEN TO STOP when you get there), or unless she take drugs to look that way. (yes, some people do that!) What will happen is that you will get leaner WAY BEYOND what you'd expect for your weight. You can be the same weight and go down 4 sizes, like in the picture here.

A Short Overview of our Process:

  • The journey to reach your goals is a process which takes time.

  • We like to call it the shortcut to long-term results.

  • You will need to trust the process.

THE PROCESS REQUIRES:


1️⃣ Being consistent with progressive overload

  • [consistently increasing weight (a little at a time) in the resistance training],


2️⃣ Restoring your metabolism by eating a LOT of good food (2000-2800 calories).


3️⃣ And only after your metabolism is restored and at a safe point:

  • will there be temporary shallow dips in the daily calorie intake

  • In order for any body fat to snowball away.

  • (not more than 3-4 months a year of SLIGHT decrease)

4️⃣ And then calories will be raised back again to maintenance

  • In order to reregulate your metabolism.


5️⃣ This process, although slower in the beginning,

  • Will provide sustainable lasting results,

  • Allowing you to build muscle and shed body fat

  • During short temporary “deficits/cuts”.


6️⃣ Depending on the clients dieting history,

  • When healing you're metabolism, you might have a temp. weight gain.

  • Sometimes, in extreme cases, even as much as 30 pounds,

  • If the metabolism has been seriously damaged due to a harsh dieting history

  • (Happens in about 3 out of 150 clients).

7️⃣ You must understand that this is NORMAL,

  • and is a necessary step in the healing process

  • If you have a damaged metabolism you NEED those fat cells temporarily

  • to restore your hormones!

  • It actually is amazing progress [and not the opposite],

  • as it will allow you to now build muscle and restore your metabolism.

  • (If you’re not eating enough, you can't build muscle).

  • So that you’ll have the ability to lose the body fat you want to lose sustainably

  • during your temporary calorie “cuts” later on.


8️⃣ The wrong way [the way most uneducated people do]

  • Eating too little and exercising too much,

  • Although the first time around will result in faster weight loss

  • But this process in the long run will 97% of the time

  • Result in regaining back all the weight plus more.

  • As it will reck the metabolism, get rid of a lot of muscle,


9️⃣ And is unsustainable long term.

  • As you would need to keep dropping your calorie intake

  • and keep increasing your movement in order to lose more weight.

  • And your weight being lost is a lot of muscle and only some body fat,

  • digging you into a bigger hole than you were in the first place.

  • And your weight loss will soon come to a halt,

  • and all your weight will be regained when you go back to your old eating habits

  • As eating so little and moving so much is unsustainable

  • (and can cause many health issues/injuries long term).
